Bio

Amber N. Warren is an Associate Professor of the Practice for Multilingual Learner Education at Vanderbilt University. Her teaching focuses on language, literacy, and supporting bilingual/multilingual learners in schools. In her research, she explores how teachers learn about and make sense of concepts related to equity, policy, and pedagogy and how they respond to education policies affecting their instruction. You can see her research in Language and Education, Linguistics & Education, School Effectiveness and School Improvement, The Journal of Education Policy, The Reading Teacher, and Kappa Delta Pi Record. She is also co-author of the TESOL publication, Pedagogy and Practice for Online English Language Teacher Education.
